Position in Overview

The Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) is recruiting an innovative and forward-thinking professional for their ATP Program Executive position.

Over the years, the University of Wisconsin’s administrative functions have become unnecessarily complex, forcing Human Resources, Finance, and Research Administration staff to navigate confusing systems to complete essential services. The Administrative Transformation Program is on a mission to correct these issues, rebuild our administration, and move the UW mission forward.

This key position is responsible for leading the planning and implementation work, direct the system-wide work and ensure coordination and execution with UW-Madison, UW System Administration, and other UW institutions.

UW-Madison has more than 22,000 faculty and staff located in 32 colleges, schools, and divisions. Employees work in a wide variety of occupations. This position is located in Madison, Wisconsin, and will be expected to work both on-site and remote until normal operations resume.

The best-qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and significant relevant work experience planning and leading progressively larger organizational transformation programs, organizing project teams, communicating across complex organizations, managing external consulting teams, and achieving project benefits. In addition, well-qualified candidates will have experience with implementations of cloud-based finance, human resource and/or student information systems projects, including business process redesign or standardization, data and reporting planning and implementation, information security planning, and significant change management activities (including training and professional development for users of systems, information technology staff, and program staff).
