Qualifications
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
8570 requirements CompTIA Security+
Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.) can be waived for 30 days after project join
Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
Responsibilities
Performs independent high-level design of enterprise application systems. Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Works closely with systems users in the identification and resolution of user problems and concerns for complex projects. Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components. Generates a set of acceptance test requirements for complex systems, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user to determine that all of the high level requirements have been met, especially for the computer-human-interface. May participate in business development activities.
