ABOUT THE JOB
The ACLU seeks a full-time position of Associate Director, Campaign Data Services in the Development Department of the ACLU's National Office in New York, NY.

Reporting to the Director, Development Data & Systems, the Associate Director, Campaign Data Services is responsible for leading the data management and execution of audience selects for donor solicitations and cultivations. Working closely with stakeholders in Analytics, Supporter Marketing, and Digital teams, the Associate Director will establish campaign service levels, develop and manage an in-house team, policies, and procedures to meet established service levels, and lead the effort to migrate campaign services queries and processes from a third party to the ACLU's data warehouse. A customer-focused mindset, strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of fundraising campaigns, advanced SQL skills, project management experience, and comfort collaborating with diverse teams are essential for success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain a service level that fully meets ACLU Development requirements of the cyclical campaign schedule and ad-hoc list pull requests
Working with the Analytics team, develop and/or migrate standard queries and processes to fulfill cyclical list pulls
Establish a team that fulfills ad-hoc requests of the Development team with accuracy and in alignment with service level standards
Manage and mentor team, ensuring skills are in alignment with roles and cultivating team performance and professional growth
Working with Product, Analytics, and Development stakeholders, develop processes to monitor, identify, escalate, and resolve data hygiene issues
Write and run ad-hoc advanced SQL queries for campaign services fulfillment needed

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience working with direct marketing data
Advanced skills in SQL
Project management skills
Hands-on experience working with donor data and databases, preferably Salesforce
Understanding of fundraising campaigns (renewals, appeals, reinstatements) and audiences in low and mid dollar fundraising programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with c3 and c4 fundraising
Experience working at complex national or international nonprofits
Experience with Salesforce platforms
COMPENSATION
The annual salary for this position is $143,943 (Level E). This salary is reflective of a position based in New York, NY. This salary will be subject to a locality adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting. Note that most of the salaries listed on our job postings reflect New York, NY salaries, where our National offices are headquartered.
