You are a key supporting role in getting to the Why? behind every project you are on. At andculture, strategists can have many areas of speciality marketing, branding, data, copywriting, SEO/SEM, and human centered design/research. But any strategist must be able to be counted on as a team member who is always looking at how a decision impacts outcomes, at what the people using the product or platform will feel and think, and how we can better communicate.

You are expected to be up-to-speed on trends in our industry, as clients will assume you are well-versed in updates on everything from Google's algorithms to emerging social media platforms. And in the same light, you'll need to be endlessly curious at learning how all of those trends, tactics, and andculture's own Way of Working can be turned into a strategic approach.

We're looking for those with a passion for at least one of these areas:

  • Human-Centered Design
  • Marketing
  • Digital Media
  • Research

Strategy is hard to put a finger on as everyone at andculture should be, in some sense, a strategic thinker with a data-driven analytical aptitude (you may or may not love a spreadsheet, but you at least know how to interpret one). You'll take that mindset to every project, and with andculture's help, you'll be given the opportunity to explore the many sides of strategy and human centered design. As you advance, you'll be able to choose a path, giving you a chance to have hands-on experience and giving us the time to evaluate what you do best. A willingness to learn is crucial.

You will be tasked with helping to make sure designers, engineers, researchers and others are constantly answering Why? and tying what they do back to the strategic goal. Cue the With great power comes great responsibility narration.

You'll be responsible for tactically enacting the team's strategy and ensuring performance is up to our standard. Use that opportunity to dive deep and grow.

This position reports to the Strategy Lead.
