Qualifications

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
Required Skills:
  • Application Transformation experience in transforming legacy systems to new cloud and/or target architecture (e.g. to Java and/or .NET environments JEE preferred)
  • Extensive application lifecycle methodology experience
  • Previous project technical leadership and Technical consulting
  • Complex application project solutioning and estimating
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical writing - proposals and statements of work


Preferred Skills:
  • Strong Application Architecture experience including: application servers (JEE, .NET), Integration Servers (Enterprise Service Bus), web servers, reporting/BI and COTS packages, etc...
  • Application development experience in mainframe and midrange environment
Soft Skills:
  • Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
  • Team Work: Able to enthuse and maintain project interest. Comfortable working both individually and as part of a Prepared to challenge ideas within a group in a constructive way.
  • Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context. Excellent active listening skills.
  • Quantitative Management: Ability to determine process measures and track to determine process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing

Responsibilities

Individuals will work remotely

Program Description: Modernize payroll systems and transition associated customers to a modern product by conducting an assessment that addresses the entire architecture for the envisioned solution.

Position Description: The resource must have experience conducting modernization portfolio analysis and leading workshops directly with stakeholders.
  • Participate in a mission to save the government 10+ billion over 10 years for payroll modernization
  • Provide recommendations for stakeholder agencies to modernize from legacy mainframe systems to cloud or hybrid platforms
  • Opportunity to provide solutions resulting in lasting impact to the federal government
  • Planning and execution of Transformation Experience Workshops and Applications Transformation /Apps Rationalization workshops
  • Support workshop follow-on's and play key role in ultimate proposal development and potentially delivery
  • Provides technical leadership on engagements
  • Lead or support quality reviews of modernization solutions
  • Consults on governance, strategy and transformation- not just operations

Colorado Salary Minimum: $82,118.40 Colorado Salary Maximum:$175,572.80 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
