Perspecta has an immediate need for a Critical Situation Manager- NOC Technician in Norfolk, VA.

The Critical Situation Manager (CSM) reports to the Enterprise Operations Manager (EOM) and is responsible for taking the initiative to drive resolution for critical issues under the purview the 24/7 Watch. The CSM is charged with managing technical bridges, maintaining a high awareness of issues as they develop, escalating to leadership as needed, provide coverage on the 24/7 in the event the EOM is unavailable, and other related duties as required. The CSM also provides mentorship to junior members, and helps ensure team compliance with administrative tasks and policies, and other tasks as assigned. Working with their team, and in alignment with ITIL best practices, CSMs are responsible for Incident Management, ensuring the diligent tracking of monitoring events and incidents that affect server and service health across the Enterprise, enforcing adherence to SLAs, and reviewing timely and accurate documentation of outage details and incident response actions taken to resolve the outage. The CSM with support from their team helps defend, protect, and ensure service for solutions which are a vital to the functionality of our customers' ability to perform the U.S. Navy's mission.



  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification, or higher
  • DoD SECRET Security Clearance (will accept an interim Secret clearance), or higher
  • Understanding of network topology, MS products, and working understanding of security products


  • Degree (technical field); may hold Bachelors degree
  • 7 years experience supporting a DoD network
