This role provides an opportunity to respond to a number of challenges, working across cross-functional teams globally to influence the direction of our business and senior leaders. In short, you can have a direct impact on shaping and delivering key experiences for millions of customers and thousands of colleagues around the world.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the client experience vision across the bank.
  • Translate voice of the customer, industry trends, and strategic imperatives.
  • Responsible for the creative execution of the future and existing consumer journeys.
  • Accountable for making and keeping the product a success—by ensuring that it offers a strong value proposition to the customers and users and that it creates the desired business benefits.
  • Create campaigns and programs to increase digital adoption by customers.
  • Implement efficient UX/UI processes by conducting usability study that helps the design team collaborate actively with Journey owners and engineers.
  • Connect with relevant stakeholders across banks functions like Operations, Risk, compliance etc. to design a best in class digital solution.
  • Reflect the legal, cross border and regulatory requirements into digital product design
  • Partner with line of business to increase the employee engagement, knowledge, and awareness of digital channels offerings.
  • Work with a number of inter-related digital products owners to define the intended client and staff digital experiences.
  • Provide inputs, ideas and innovation around ways of working and managing digital products in a distributed model across markets.
  • Identify where the agreed business benefits and matching KPIs for the product can be surfaced and measured in journeys.
  • Responsible project execution, including experience design and stakeholder management.
  • Contribute to, and help groom the requirement backlog in collaboration with the accountable product owner. Ensure the wider team understand the backlog.
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product according to business value or ROI. Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on.
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of objectives.
  • Comprehensively test the digital solution along with critical stakeholders and arrange for a signoff.
  • Awareness of related industry trends, distilling this knowledge and sharing with the wider team.

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 3 year(s).
  • Creative thinker with a vision, disruptive in approach and passionate to make cutting-edge changes to the way financial services is delivered.
  • Excellent communicator, with empathy and EQ sufficient to seamlessly connect teams and colleagues and resolve conflicting stakeholder priorities.
  • Commercial acumen, able to understand and speak to revenue and value generation models.
  • Passion for Digital and how new offerings and capabilities can meaningfully drive engagement, empowerment, and the overall consumer experience.
  • Able to demonstrate how customer centric thinking is expressed and reinforced through the digital product design & development processes, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution.
  • Financial services industry experience and strong understanding of Investment Banking and / or Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) process would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of how the changing regulatory environment has impacts on the digital product design process.
  • Strong understanding of digital UX and interaction design.
  • Excellent understanding of how global teams need to work to be effective across video conferencing, email, messaging, time zones.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Demonstrate flexibility when addressing shifting or competing priorities.
  • Open to occasional travel as required.
