Responsibilities

Support working groups with other Agencies discussing services of common concern and other enterprise software, hardware, and services solutions. Deliver contracting office expertise toward support to acquisition workforce in assessments and recommendations. Plan and execute studies, working groups, projects, and other activities to inform procurements. Perform technical research and analysis, and then prepare reports or presentations to address ad hoc taskings and requests. Review acquisition strategies, contracting strategies, RFPs, determination/findings, and other relevant documentation to ensure sound contracting practices are employed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Contracting, Economics, Business, Law, or similar field.
  • Twenty years or more of experience as a Government Contracting Officer, demonstrating:
    • Performance of the full range of Government pre-award and post-award activities on various types of contracts
    • Expert knowledge of federal contracting regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Experience as a Contracting Officer within the IC
    • Experience planning and evaluating procurement and contracting programs and operations
    • Experience in developing and recommending policies, procedures, and guidelines in support of federal procurement and contracting programs
    • Experience managing a group or team of contracting officers
  • Level III DAWIA, FAC-C, or equivalent certification

Salary Minimum: $97,718.40 Salary Maximum:$208,873.60 The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Perspecta salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Perspecta provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
