As a Group Leader in the Cybersecurity Leadership team, the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) will be responsible for evolving our GRC program and ensuring Western Union is secure & compliant with required controls and best practices for countries in which Western Union performs operations. You will be responsible for development of the strategy & roadmap for all aspects of our GRC program. You will lead a fast-moving team who brings vision and innovation to grow our program. You will be highly visible interacting throughout Western Unions global business and technology teams.

For this role, you will need to have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required. MBA or Masters in Computer Sciences or Information Systems preferred. You will have 15+ years in technology with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity with specialization of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). You will need 8+ years of management experience, including experience leading global teams. You will have the ability to develop and communicate strategy and vision to other stakeholders. Ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders, including cross-functional, global teams and the Executive Team. You will have advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to adequately assess level of risk / urgency and appropriate escalation channels / times. You will have a strong executive presence with the ability to develop relationships and drive consensus among peers across a global organization. You will have the ability to make clear and effective decisions, implement stable solutions, and influence positive change. Youll possess strong analytical skills with ability to transition findings into executable plans to meet business objectives.

The on-target earnings range is $225,913.00 - $376,500.00, which includes a base salary of $161,367 - $268,929, short-term (20% of base), and long-term (20% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, flexible time off, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
