Qualifications ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
Education and Experience Required (per DoDD 8140 (DoDD 8570))- Possess the approved baseline certifications for IAM Level II, identified in DOD 8570.01-Manual.
- Computing Environment certification (can be done during on-boarding).
- Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.
Knowledge and Skills:- Skill in applying total infrastructure protection environment; system security certification and accreditation requirements and processes; as well as Federal information systems protocols.
- Knowledge of a wide range of Information Technology and Information Assurance concepts, principals and practices required to plan, direct, and evaluate IMCOM-Europe and Garrison security programs for Automated Information Systems.
- Microsoft Tools (SCCM, Active Directory, VM Tools (VM Sphere & VMware, Enterprise Security Solutions (Firewalls, IDS, HIBBS) and DOD approved Cybersecurity monitoring solutions (SCAP, STIG, ACAS).
- Ability to work independently including setting priorities and coordinating work.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees at varying grade levels.
- Ability to identify customers concerns, perform the tasks required to resolve the issue accurately and timely, and follow-up as necessary to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
Responsibilities Experience working with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), Commanders Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) processes. Expertise in the application of Federal, Department of Defense and Army information security regulations, policies and procedures and their impact to IMCOM-E systems.
Responsibilities:- Provide Information Assurance support to the systems and users to ensure applicable military regulations, procedures, and policies are adhered to under guidance of Information Security System Manager(ISSM).
- Provide RMF support of government IT systems.
- Assist with documentation of systems within eMASS.
- Assist with the development, review, and modification of local Information Assurance (IA) related policies, procedures, and processes.
- Review security configurations, audit logs, and patch status of government systems.
- Assist with Tenant Security Plan (TSP) and ensuring devices are operated within the supported garrison TSP IAW regulations, policies and procedures.
- Develop system baseline, upgrades & innovations, policies & procedures and system documentation & regulations under cyber security aspects.
- Achieve successful Accreditation & Authorization to Operate (ATO) for identified systems.
- Perform cyber security and FISMA Compliance relevant system monitoring.
Customer Relationship:- Put emphasis on customer success by ensuring customer requirements are addressed with a sense of urgency and within time constraints.
- Be an active participant in customer visits and service reviews.
