Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will:

Provide support to coordinate with the IM/KM Lead/Supervisor to ensure staff resources are available to accommodate mission priorities, and to identify deficiencies in capability at the site location within 24-hrs of occurrence.

Provide weekly IM/KM status reports on all projects and work orders. Maintain desktop procedures and turnover binder for all applicable positions, as defined by the Government, documenting all facets of work as applicable by Marine Corps Order P4790.2C Para 1005.

Be responsible for the overall efficiency of IM/KM operations managed by the contracted staff, as well as maintaining the status of all IM/KM projects and with their assigned resources. Develop SharePoint solutions that support the commands mission. Solutions may include custom workflows, custom InfoPath, web parts, web services, application definition files, integration of third-party tools, customized lists, and JavaScript libraries in the currently used version of SharePoint by MARFORPAC.

Create and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, jQuery UI, JavaScript, Angular JS, Bootstrap, CAML, XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP, and other web technologies to provide a robust user interface and user experience. Create and maintain MS Access solutions that update SharePoint lists by using SQL, VBA code, developing reports, and creating custom forms.

Use knowledge of SQL to integrate SharePoint with external SQL Server databases. Maintain and update SharePoint site templates and style sheets. Make look and feel modifications; integrate web services and create dashboards for reporting to the Government. Apply current graphic design and development technologies to design and develop SharePoint applications.

Create technical and interface design documentation and prototypes to support the development of enterprise SharePoint solutions. Design, implement, integrate and support SharePoint solutions within the Commands information architecture. Integrate different enterprise capabilities for coherence and consistency with the goal of facilitating information sharing and reducing redundancy.

Use Government tasking and project tracking tools (SharePoint and Remedy) to record and track all projects through the project lifecycle and work orders through completion. Prepare and maintain documentation of the code, libraries, and templates developed, and how to use them will be provided in an appropriate format and in a centralized location so that is available to all users.

Seek to automate business processes through the following criteria: Develop solutions through the collaborative system user interface without using code. Use of out-of-box capabilities shall be leveraged in order to develop the solution so that it will not require IM/KM support to configure and/or maintain.

Leverage the collaborative systems out-of-box set of capabilities that can be simply customized that the process requires a more complex solution. Employ client-side code that a more complex solution is required. Obtain approval for custom client-side code usage from IM/KM Lead/Supervisor. Centrally store and have code libraries accessible to all users with Design permissions. Develop templates to enable an easy to use solution for users.


Qualifications

BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5+

Secret Clearance and IAT II is required.
