The Home Nurse-Respiratory Tech is responsible for providing instruction, assessment, follow-up and on call services to patients using respiratory equipment, such as apnea monitors, oxygen, etc. in the home setting. The Home Nurse-Respiratory Tech provides care for patients in the following groups: infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric. The Home Nurse-Respiratory Tech is also responsible for occasionally delivering and providing instruction to customers receiving other items of durable medical equipment. The Home Nurse-Respiratory Tech also participates in formal, as well as informal marketing of all products and services provided by KeyC are Medical.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current or temporary nursing license in ND or compact nursing licensure OR must be Certified Respiratory Therapist by NBRC and licensed in ND.
Current ND or other state drivers license, required.
Educational Requirements
Nursing or CRT program as evidenced by licensure.

Special Skills or Training Requirements
Ability to apply principles of learning to age specific group.
Ability to apply principles of pathophysiology and treatment in areas of expertise to age specific group.
Good understanding of medical guidelines for home oxygen use and diseases relating to respiratory care, preferred.
Minimum of ten hours of continuing education credits required annually per respiratory requirements.
