  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Train all employees on Pharmacy Equipment and Systems that are necessary for proper care of the patient, including but not limited to RX30 Pharmacy Software System, RX30 Point of Sale System, Script-Pro Dispensing System, Phones, IVR System, Controlled Substance Ordering System, and wholesaler ordering systems.

    • Provide Pharmacy Technician services on a regular basis under the direction of the Pharmacist-In-Charge compliant with current standards of Pharmacy practice, consistent with all State and Federal regulations. Provide quality and safe delivery of Pharmacy services in the retail setting. Work under the direction of Staff Pharmacists in the absence of the Pharmacist-In-Charge.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    • Licenses and Certifications Required
      • Current Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing in the State of North Dakota.
    • Educational Requirements
      • Education as required or accepted by the North Dakota State Board of Pharmacy for licensure. Required amount of acceptable continued education as evidenced by yearly renewal of license by State Board of Pharmacy.
    • Experience Requirements
      • At least 2 years Retail Pharmacy experienced required.
      • Excellent customer service and team skills needed for interaction with Pharmacy personnel, patients, medical staff, and support staff of pharmacy systems.
      • History of and displayed competent use of various computer systems necessary.
    • Special Skills or Training Requirements
      • Expertise in RX30 Pharmacy Software system, RX30 Point of Sale system, wholesaler ordering systems, CSOS ordering system, Script Pro Dispensing System, IVR System, mailing systems, phone systems and other equipment in use in the pharmacy.
      • Ability to communicate to end users (Pharmacists, Technicians, Clerks) the functionality of systems in use in the Pharmacy and the ability to train them in their use.
      • Professional demeanor, courteous attitude, ability to maintain and respect the confidentiality of patient health information and data to a high degree.
      • Ability to maintain active customer and fellow employee communications during working shifts.
      • Ability to work a variety of shifts based on company and customer needs.
      • Ability to travel for meetings and training seminars, conduct informational meetings and disseminate training information to end users as necessary for full utilization of systems.
      • Possess adequate communication skills (oral and written) in order to accurately record information, orders, messages or other data. Have the capability to communicate with medical staff, pharmacy staff, and patients in a clear, concise, friendly, and professional manner. Position requires capability to express thoughts, concepts, and directions effectively through written and oral media including correspondences, memoranda, and other company related documents.
