Responsible for providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. The RN III Float will be assigned daily to a nursing unit by the Nursing Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
CPR required within orientation period.
Ongoing Point of Care certifications as required for department required within orientation period.
Educational Requirements
RN program as evidenced by licensure.
BSN preferred.
Experience Requirements
One year or more of professional nursing experience preferred.
Clinic experience preferred.
Coding experience preferred.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Flexibility required.
May include travel to Minot clinics.
Computer use.
Special additional requirements (one or more of following):
Take call as required for department.
ACLS certification as required for position.
PALS certification as required for position.
Chemotherapy certification as required for position.
Monitor IV infusions.
Draw and package lab samples with additional training and take x-rays with limited license operator training.
