Qualifications Required Qualifications- 16+ years with BS/BA or 14+ years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D.16+ years of experience with managing complex IT solutions and development capture efforts for federal civilian government clients
- Demonstrated a successful record of leading and winning large-scale $100M+ captures and developing complex technical solutions
- Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
- Experience with executing all phases of a large, multi-year capture effort successfully, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses
- Knowledge of the US governments acquisition process
- Ability to show expertise in business development life cycle and solution selling methodologies
- Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
- Ability to lead teams and stakeholders throughout the capture process
- Ability to operate independently but still retain an enterprise focus
Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an ambitious
Senior Capture Manager with demonstrated success in capturing new business within the Federal Civilian marketspace. As a key member of our Citizen Security and Public Services Sector, you will provide leadership, critical thought, and a strategic mindset to winning business opportunities. You will partner with program management teams, solution architects, and functional leadership to develop winning strategies, solutions, and proposals. Success in this role is ultimately measured by meeting and exceeding acquisition and financial targets aligned to company goals. This position will primarily support our federal civilian clients.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of winning strategies for opportunities >$100M, including strategic win themes, marketing campaigns and call plans, customer analysis, competitive analysis, solution and gap analysis, and the recruiting and selection of teaming partners.
- Lead cross-functional capture and proposal teams without possessing direct reporting authority.
- Make timely decisions related to opportunities, including getting the capture team resourced, determining strategies, teaming, and partnering, solution alternatives, and supporting customer relationships
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the bid, and keep leadership advised when new bid risks are encountered, or mitigation plans fail to achieve desired results.
- Ensure the development of a winning offer and solution sets (e.g., technical/management, price-to-win, schedule, past performance)
- Manage communications and relationships with partners and subcontractors, coordinating customer communications and relationships with Business Development.
