Senior Manager, Technical Accounting

In this unique global role, you will lead and develop a small team of talented professionals to design and govern processes for the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Review month end journal entries
• Prepare, review and analyze month end reporting schedules.
• Analyze complex balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and Western Union accounting policies.
• Respond to the companys licensing and examination financial requests.
• Communicate with various regulatory agencies regarding required filings and related issues.
• Work with business partners, including the Head of Financial and Regulatory Reporting, to analyze, monitor, interpret, implement, and resolve new and proposed regulatory reporting issues.
• Design and develop ad hoc reporting.
• Participate in complex accounting and regulatory reporting projects.
• Manage, mentor and train other Accountants and Specialists.
• Assist with special projects as they arise and actively participate in initiating and implementing process improvements.

Role Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• 7+ years experience in Accounting with some experience in the technical accounting field

• CPA required
• Experience designing metrics and reconciling data from multiple sources.
• Experience managing and leading Accountants

Salary

The base salary range is $98,816.39-$131,755.19- $164,693.99 USD per Annual, plus a 15% performance based Bonus and 5% stock grant incentive that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies.
