Join our international team and help to build our Video Infrastructure team to support theGoToproducts family with apps like GoToMeeting andGoToWebinar to run everywhere providing the best experiences for our customers.The Realtime Collaboration and Communication Platform team in Dresden, Germany is looking for a highly motivated, curious and passionate software engineer to develop and operate our real-time video infrastructure inourfast-growing team.
You will become part of a passionate, professional, ego-less and friendly team while getting first-hand experience inbuildingcloud infrastructure components and servicesfor a fast-growing tech company. Although we have offices in Dresden, Munich and Karlsruhe, we are also a remote-centric business and offer a range of personas to allow variations in home-office based and flexible work.
Your role:
Shape and own selected video cloud infrastructure related features, components and services
Develop reusable, scalable and robust software for our Linux based cloud infrastructure in C++ and TypeScript
Verify and optimize the scalability and stability of our cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with teams in Germany and around the globe to drive improvements and synergies
Be part of a highly talented, international, lean and agile development team
Continuously expand and share your knowledge
Your experience:
Profound knowledge of the C++ language in its modern forms
Working knowledge with JavaScript/TypeScript is an advantage
Strong interest in cloud technology, distributed systems and DevOps
Hands-on experience with Linux
Expertise with professional software engineering best practices for the full development life cycle, e.g. applying TDD, clean code, pair programming, code reviews
Experience in video processing and streaming of live media would be a plus
