The LogMeIn Web & Ecommerce department is seeking a Senior Web UX Researcher. As a part of the Web UX/Content Strategy team, youll help guide the improvement of content and communications and enhance conversion on a range of SaaS web properties. Ecommerce represents the front door for the majority of our customers, and a primary revenue generator for LogMeIn.
Were looking for someone who is passionately user-centered and driven by data. Our ideal candidate has marketing acumen and is creative in applying UX research methods to marketing content and sign up/ecommerce purchase flows. They should possess strong creative planning and analytical thinking skills that enable them to effectively design, conduct, and report out on testing. They will strive to answer questions about how well our web content is understood, and determine the usability of page and flow designs. Ultimately, the goal is to affect positive changes in our web experiences.
What youll do:
Conduct end-to-end research benchmark comparison analysis, content testing, concept and prototype testing, usability testing on both marketing pages and sign up/purchase flows.
Create research roadmaps to prioritize the work and communicate plans.
Develop test plans that include custom-crafted questions to get specifics about the information that prospects need, and the marketing story that meets those needs.
Conduct content testing that evaluates the copy were using, and whether our narrative resonates with our audience.
Design multi-method testing plans and scripts aimed at collecting qualitative and quantitative feedback.
Partner with web owners, design, product marketing, and engineering, to understand technical and business requirements and prioritize key questions and research opportunities.
Review, analyze, and communicate feedback from research and test results that provide tactical and strategic insights, and drive recommendations for UX and conversion improvements for our sites.
Document your strategies with guidelines and establish best practices and research principles for our department.
What youll need:
A portfolio or samples of case studies. We want to see how youve turned research into actionable items and results.
Ability to juggle multiple high-profile projects at a time.
Intrinsic motivation for adding to our backlog of learning opportunities and owning the end-to-end planning and execution of our research program.
Ability to accept and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and colleagues in a rapid process, and effectively produce highly polished work under tight timelines.
3-5 years of UX Research work experience. Previous education and training taken into consideration.
Deep understanding of UX research and A/B + Multivariate Testing methods (with a solid handle on usability and concept testing) and understanding of when and how to apply different methods.
Familiarity with online research tools (e.g. Usertesting.com, WEVO, Wynter, Heatmap software, Google Analytics) for both moderated and unmoderated testing and analysis.
Experience conducting testing and research for CRO and landing page/funnel optimization.
Experience conducting testing within a B2C and B2B web marketing or commerce environment is a plus.
Experience in an agile scrum environment alongside designers, developers, and analysists is a plus.
