Teva is searching for a Senior Manager- Maintenance Excellence to join our EMU team in Irvine, CA!

This new position will lead a small and agile team focused on reducing equipment downtime, extending critical asset life,  assisting our Maintenance staff in working efficiently and effectively and contributing to our sites commitment to inspection readiness. You will promote reliability awareness, educate our associates of the benefits in pursuing best practices and the various roles they can play in supporting this model, and focus on the following key elements to ensure Teva-Irvine becomes a top performer.

Key focus areas include leading and supporting Irvine Maintenance Excellence personnel:

You will:

• Develop and communicate the Asset Reliability vision and team charter
• Lead your team to ensure the group is achieving all identified goals and objectives
• Measure, communicate and coach your team in Tevas performance management process
• Set the Strategic Direction with input from the site Director on areas such as:
  • Oversee the development of site M&R best practices
  • Manage the execution of a site M&R best practices gap assessment
  • Prioritize the recommendations from the assessment and develop a mitigating timeline
  • Measure the improvement implementations and communicate progress
•  Oversee the Reliability Engineering effort at the Irvine site, ensuring required Reliability Engineering best practices are properly executed. Items which are likely to be pursued include:
  • Improving the level of equipment selection
  • Ensuring proper installation procedures and specifications/tolerances are being adhered to
  • Ensuring Precision Maintenance practices are being adhered to
  • Identification of critical problem equipment experiencing reoccurring failures
  • PM Optimization, Predictive Maintenance
  • Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis, Planning & Scheduling
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System functionality and proper usage
  • MRO Materials Management
  • Operator Care/TPM & Culture Change
• Support the site compliance efforts by the timely Management of any deviations and investigations related to cGMP practices where applicable to your team

• Engineering Bachelors degree; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred, however, the equivalent combination of education/experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
• Five years of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical, life sciences facility
• Five years of previous supervisory/management experience
• A proven track record of successful leadership experience
• Ability to support site audits from the FDA, EPA, etc.
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a P&L understanding
• Analytical, thorough, attentive to details
