Job Description

  • Provide expertise and oversight the Teva Vendor Quality Management and Quality Risk processes that helps to minimize supply chain risk and ensure the quality of externally sourced materials and services.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the policies, standards, and procedures that drive the Vendor Quality Management and Quality Risk Management systems with Teva Global Operations.
  • Serve as Business Owner for Vendor Quality Management global improvement projects and the development/oversight of related tools and systems
  • Direct the timely resolution of critical vendor quality and compliance and quality risk issues across the Teva network, providing technical direction and leading cross-functional teams  
  • Provide support in the execution of the Teva global Quality Risk Management program and associated corporate standard.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and suggest remedial activities as part of the Site Quality Risk Map profile process.

Vendor Quality Management Standards and Tools

Critical Vendor Issues

Vendor Qualification and Performance Evaluation

Procurement Business Partner


  • Bachelors in Science is required and advanced degree preferred in science/regulatory field
  • A minimum of 5-7 years in the pharmaceutical industry is required
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for major government bodies, including FDA (US), EMA (Europe) as well as WHO (World Health Organization)
  • Technical experience from working at a manufacturing facility with the ability to understand and interpret regulatory requirements is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical quality and quality systems, especially those related to risk management, with broad experience and exposure to best practices
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Vendor Quality and overall Quality Risk Management
  • Experience in project and/or program management leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in regional and/or global role preferred
  • Skilled with computers using programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project.  Expertise in Excel is preferred.
  • Fluent in English
