ADP is hiring a Sr. Principal Client Experience Professional as part of ADP Strategic Advisory Services, which is a specialized area within ADP charged with assisting our clients with the strategic outcomes for their businesses, programs and business plans. The position has three primary responsibilities:

Consultative selling, consultative change management investigating and scoping and acting as a subject matter expert representing ADP.

In this position, the individual is recognized as subject matter expertise while being product agnostic within ADP. This role is often called upon by our Public Relations and Speakers Bureau as a subject matter expert who is comfortable on any size stage (client site or conferences).

Most of your client-side consulting will be limited to our upmarket/large clients who can have from 1000 employees to an infinite number of employees and suborganizations. Client-side consulting often dictates extensive research with our Client Success Executives and preparing materials that assist with discussions with the clients to ferret out the true nature of organizational constructs, identify compliance execution challenges and recommending best practices for communicating and managing change. You will be required to spend an amount of time early in the position to learn ADP's change management and discussion methodology.

Deliverables include the provision of a standardized work plan or workbook at the end of your engagement. Communications skills, consultative client discussion skills, investigatory skills are all required for the position.

As assigned, or called upon, you may be asked to assist clients in developing business cases to assist them in selling their change initiatives internally as well. You will often be asked to serve as an expert about your topic inside of ADP with internal ADP stakeholders and functional owners.

  • Responsible for strategic level client-side support and working with Client Success Management to satisfy and retain client accounts that could be valued at $10M or more. Directly responsible for three arms of executing- between ADP and clients are met.


  • Leads and fosters relationships with other ADP organizations to cross-functionally coordinate and introduce clients to the breadth of ADP services. ADP is a large corporation and as such finding and locating the right teams to assist you and for you to bring into the conversation with our clients is key to your long-term success.


  • Identifying and implementing best practices; establishing and reengineering processes; and improving the client's business model so that clients, vendors, and associates are served more efficiently. Providing solutions that will align people and action to maximize business performance are also key. Success in this position will be measured by:
  1. Client feedback and their likelihood to recommend Strategic Advisory Services
  2. Development and delivery of client workbooks and education
  3. Remaining an expert at your subject matter areas and the likelihood that you will be called on by our Speakers Bureau again
  4. Number of engagements per person quality and feedback from clients
  5. Anticipates compliance changes that may lead to future trends/work and



  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience :

  • A minimum of 4-7 in a consultative type practice. Advanced studies in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related fields and FPC, CPP, CEBS, SPHR, PHR, CPA designations desirable. Specific knowledge of HR, Benefits or Workforce Management is also desirable.
  • Must be able to work well in a high demand, fast paced environment. Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills and recognized organizational savvy.
