Qualifications
Requires:
Experienced maintaining and supporting computer, monitoring and managing system resources, and performing security administration functions such as user profile and account access management.
Skilled in maintaining system documentation, optimizing system performance, and installing software.
Edu/Exp: HS +11-14 Years, BA/BA 5-10 Years, or MA/MS +3-6 Years.
Certs: DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
Personnel must be highly skilled to adapt to emerging and evolving scope of work.
Personnel require a TS/SCI with a CI Poly
Able to work shifts, weekends, holidays, etc.
Require the following skillsets:
Able to assist with strategic planning, policy, synchronization, migration planning, security planning
Possess the ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor support
Able to analyze large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels.
Display excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suite of applications
Prefer the following skillsets:
Linux and Windows Administration experience
Experience in gitlib, ansible awx, elastic/kibana dashboard, ovirt, virtual machine manager
Experience in Scripting: bash, linux (redhat, kali, centos, oracle)
Responsibilities
Support Army Cyber Command the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC).
Tasks include:
-provide hardware/software installations and upgrades; network support; technical recommendations for future operations.
-Maintain systems and coordinate work activities with engineering staff and other service providers.
-Monitor and manage
system resources to maintain system efficiency. Perform user access functions such as creating user profiles and accounts.
-Incoordination with other support elements, support system software/hardware maintenance and data backups.
-Support IA activities such as patching and compliance.
General Duties: Installs, supports, maintains and monitors IT Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure for reliability and uptime. Architects, designs, implements and maintains complex enterprise SANs and data backup recovery systems. In collaboration with other architecture and engineering teams(systems engineering, database administration, network operations and applications development), analyze and design enterprise storage systems used for customer data management, high transaction database processing and storage. Working with others, analyze and translate business requirements into a solution design for new installations or upgrades to existing platforms. Manages and provides operational support of data availability and retention systems such as server and SAN based backups and enterprise level backup solutions.
