Systems Engineer for Pega Support

Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Masters or PhD Degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: a High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- Minimum 5 years of PEGA Decision Hub experience (workflow and development)
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:- Experience in Agile Development Methodology
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) Certification a plus
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule to complete
- Needs minimal work direction and provides best practice sharing within work group
- Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment
- Should be comfortable guiding people without having influence over them
Responsibilities Provide direct system engineering support and related services to a customer responsible for Reimaging, Reporting and Dissemination (RRD). Work with the client to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution. Identify and document high-level requirements, map future state of the solution, and ensure the system/solution meets business and user requirements. Actively participate in AGILE process for Pega implementation into the customers environment. Develop process maps, user stories, UI Mockups to gain agreement and prove understanding of business need and process requirements. Assist in product demos, UAT testing, and quality management reviews and help ensure that all business and design requirements are met. Play an active role in configuring and testing the solution and supporting the technical team for any OOTB and custom development required. Demonstrate proactive communication and problem solving; and establish credibility with project stakeholders and help lead them to adoption of the best solution. The successful candidate will be relied upon as a subject matter expert of Pega technology, its capabilities and best practices and will provide thought-leadership to client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.
