Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organizations systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Provides analysis, develops, installs and modifies computer operating systems. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with operating systems. Detects, diagnoses and reports problems. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
