Systems Engineering Manager for Field Site Support

Qualifications Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:- Bachelors degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Masters degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- Three or more years of experience performing in technical leadership role or program management experience
- Previous experience with technical task management including task development, customer/stakeholder relationship building, cost & schedule management, and staffing.
- Position requires an experienced personnel manager with strong communication skills. Individual must be responsive, flexible, and able to work independently.
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:- Five years of experience supporting programs and projects within the MPO customer.
- International work experience is a plus
- Related certifications; e.g. PMP, CSEP, ESEP etc..
Responsibilities Perform as a Technical Task Order Leader and manager for Peraton employees and subcontractor personnel who provide Systems Engineering support to customer CONUS and OCONUS sites. Manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Provide technical leadership and guidance to support the application of System Engineering and Architecture (SE&A) processes and tools to solve technical problems and achieve desired mission outcomes. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments, to include ensuring that all TDY and PCS requirements are met. Evaluates and determines changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility. Determines candidates for employment/termination, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company and program policies. Responsible for periodic reporting, to include Program Reviews and written reports. Travel is not a requirement for this position.
