You will be working on StandOut, our talent activation technology platform. What is Talent Activation? As our next UX Designer you will be responsible for creating compelling, innovative design solutions that demonstrate the power and value of rich internet experiences. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype web features and applications, and contributes to design patterns and building blocks for application framework. Your priority will be to meet user (and customer) needs in close partnership with product and engineering teams. You'll have a passion for solving problems and making complex systems of interaction fluid and easy to use. Above all, you are curious and eager to understand how things work and able to translate that into a compelling user experience. Does this sound like you?

Does the following make you feel STRONG?

  • Partner with engineering, product, and teams across the organization to create intuitive and impactful user experiences
  • Translate requirements and deliver wireframes, logical flows, specifications, prototype, or high fidelity visually designs that are practical yet push boundaries
  • Leverage modern web technologies to define innovative user interfaces and interaction models that result in improved user productivity and operational efficiency
  • Understand and employ best practices for interaction designs, usability, and supporting technologies
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative UX research with end-users, clients, and other stakeholders.


Experience You'll Need: 

  • 2-3 years of experience of user centered design processes and methods
  • 2-3 years of experience with Sketch and some of the following tools: Figma, Framer, Principle, Adobe Creative Studio, InVision, Balsamiq or equivalent wire-framing software
  • Experience designing for the web and an understanding of the technology behind it (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience applying user research to guide design decisions
  • Interest in working with and expanding a design systems
  • Ability to coordinate and track user stories, use cases, and design deliverables
  • Ability to engender trust and respect of peers and stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical internal clients

How You'll Stand Out: (preferred qualification AKA nice to have 1-3 bullets)

  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • UX Research experience from a deeper user experience driving complex user behaviors.
