As the VP Senior Specialist WPB Ops position represents a leadership role within Wealth Operations the position will support a number of high-level and concurrently functioning initiatives. While the role-holder will have no direct reports, they will be deeply engaged with all departments across the Wealth Operations continuum to ensure collaborative projects move forward at pace. The role will act as primary point of contact for Global Ops initiatives as well as that of local project lead where appropriate.

This is a highly visible role, the candidate should feel comfortable presenting to and interacting with senior stakeholders, as ongoing stakeholder management across a number concurrent Operationally focused projects will be a key to their success. The role holder will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
The role will provide centralized support for the continued alignment of historical PBOps and Brokerage ops as it relates to the establishment of process, procedure, and relevant stakeholder approvals.
The position will lead initiatives related to Operational process/control automation, streamlining of specific and ongoing projects, provide digital employee support, as well as, a Regulatory and Audit point of contact. Additionally, the role will be responsible for supervisory review of certain Operational metrics, carry approval/decision making authority, serve as lead for escalated exception items, serving as point of contact for Senior Management and Offshore Operations Management counterparts.

To be successful in this role you will feel comfortable across a wide variety of products and disciplined within the Wealth landscape. You’ll need to be an efficient communicator comfortable with running lead on number of high-profile projects with tight deadlines. The role will feel comfortable interacting with diverse teams across a number of jurisdictions.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $136,300 and $204,400.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location
